912E's are kinda hard to price, there just weren't that many of them, and they were only made one year. It seems like most people look to get 8 to 10,000 for them. I find that they are typically priced at the same level as the mid year 911's. If it were me I would be looking to pay 5 tp 6,000 maybe more if the car was absolutely perfect. If I am going to pay the same amount as a 911 I'd rather have a 911. Rust is a big issue on cars this old. Particularly on east coast cars! Another thing to pay attention to is that those weber carbs will likely no pass an emissions inspection if you have them in Conn. I hope that helps a little bit. I'm far from an expert on 912E pricing so only use that as one price point out of many. You might want to see what they go for on ebay, and the 912 registery.

$10,000 to $14,000 should buy a pretty nice 1976 911. So, I'm with Rich on the $5000 to $6000 price tag with the limited info we have. Maybe $8000 if the car is exceptional. $10,000 if she's ready for the full concours competition...
Nice color though! Is it maybe the photo or do those tires look like they are the wrong size...? |

Like most old cars condition and originality are the things that dictate price. An original 912E in excellent condition, if presented well should bring 15,000 - 20,000.00. The car pictured has a repaint, Weber carbs, incorrect wheels and mirrors etc. More information would be needed to give an accurate estimate of the value but +/- 7,000.00 is in the ball park.
Good luck in your search!

Wow. I really like that color. Is that a repaint in original color? Can't recall if Cookie cutters were optional on the 912. They were available on same year 911s so it is certainly possible. The blue centers are neat accent.
Likely has 205/50 tires on those "massive" 6x15 rims ![]() Any specs on the motor rebuild? Mirrors, as noted are wrong (and technically so too are the amber taillights ![]() 912s are a pricing enigma given their 1) small quantities and 2) reduced performance made them a stepchild to the 911. Not sure what emmission are like in CT for a 30 year old car. Maybe you can get antique/classic/qq tags and avoid the whole issue ![]() Depending on the close ups and a PPI, I would guess $6-8k
