The last ice age was appx. 10,000 years ago. Not that long in geological terms.

The kind of things that bother me in a discussion like this are anomolies like the mammoths in Siberia; frozen solid (almost flash frozen) with the meat still edible (in fact even served at meeting of a British Society meeting in the late 1800s) and the food in their gut undigested. How did this happen? Can a climate change in a very short time? Can we be sure that it cannot?

I probably will not be around to see any vast change. At least I hope not.
