Hey its like all my birthdays have come at once.
The guy selling the car knew zero about 911's (a little less than me at the time, but i'm learning fast).
He told me it was 3.0 he had taken in on trade in.
I got it cheap, because it was running like crap, he just wanted it gone as he figured it needed a lot of engine work from the running condition. I knew after a few miles it was only broken down HT leads.
So I bought it, took it home, changed leads, plugs, filter, oil etc and its now sweet as a nut. This porsche is seriously growing on me.
I must post some pictures soon.
By the way, I assumed as I was told by seller that it was a 3.0L 1975 and bought plugs, leads etc for that model and fitted them.
Is there a difference between the 3.0L 75 gear and the 3.2L 84 to 86 gear? Do I need to get different plugs?
