They do seem optimistic. Really exceptional cars might get the high values with the right buyer, though.
New PML is just out and has early 'S' values pretty high, too. True that some go for 60-80K or more, but most seem to trade for less.
SCM had an article about this phenomenon -- basically stating that everyone thinks their car is 'excellent,' while a true 100 point car is the rare exception, with incredible attention to detail.
