I go across the lake to Eschen Automotive in Bellevue. They are next to Barrier Porsche.
We used to go to Greg's, but after getting introduced to Eschen by Chris at Chris's German Auto, Gary Eschen and crew have had our Japanese car business ranging from our ex gas guzzling V8 Land Cruiser to my $300 Sentra I bought on Craigslist.
I like them as their prices are very reasonable, and for the older cars, they are willing to suggest and source out used parts. When I need an oil change, I can make an appointment, and they will change the oil right away while I wait.
I also like shops where I get to know the owner and the crew, and its been the same guys for the 7 years I've been going there.
I know its out of the way, but when I have to leave a car there for a day, I just take the bus back to Seattle. There's a Metro stop next to the shop that takes you to the Bellevue Transit Station, get on the 271 across the lake to UW and I take the 43 or 48 up to CapHill.
