If it really did peal the color right off then try using a black sharpie marker to color in the white spots. I have leather fruniture in my house that had a couple real small knicks in the leather around a corner or the back. Out of the way kind of places like the area of your door panel. I used a marker to color in the white spot. It's not 100% perfect, but it's 99%. Big difference than a white spot whit a dark background. Nobody can tell by loooking at it. I know whree they are, but it's been so long ago now that I would have to look for them to find them.
