I am assuming that by saying you stripped one of the allen head bolts, you are refering to the allen head socket in the top of the bolt.
Vice grips are the sure cure to the stripped allen head. Of course you will have to replace the bolt, and possibly have to chase the internal threads; depending on the reason the bolt bound up (cross threaded or galled)
