Here is my first 911 project. I have done a few 914's in my past, but decided to make the leap.
It is a 1970 T, original engine (yes, I know, that will be dealt with after the body, as I have a low budget right now), steel flares, 7's and 9's (aftermarket Fuchs), IROC body work, and both a whale tail and duck tail (not sure which one I will like in the end, possibly trade off once in a while)
I have some rust in the usual places, as I have read in the other threads, but this should turn out to be a pretty good car.
It is now a tub with a wiring harness. I am always afraid to play with those in a 35+ YO car. I plan to strip all undercoating off, fix all questionable rust areas, and give it a new life from the bottom up. Most original parts are in great shape. I plan to also do the usual, rebuild all calipers, new brake lines, turbo tie rods, shocks and T-bars are OK for now (remember, low budget). I will also need some seats as the originals are shot.
Any words of encouragement out there ? I will try to keep this updated with new pictures if anyone is actually interested.
