I don't think it's good to take sides likes this. I wouldn't get rid of my car if my wife asked me to, but in fairness, I wouldn't get rid of my wife on account the car. They will just have to get along. It's a toughie, because both can be irrational and have you doing crazy things you never thought you were capable of. Just keep your head about yourself and it should go away with some good old fashioned, head-in-the-sand avoidance.
