I like to goof with them as well. We have a second phone line in the house that I only use for dial-up. So when the phone rings, I know its a telemarketer. I usually answer the phone with "city morgue, can I help you?" or "Gay and Lesbian hotline, whatzzup baby?" That shuts them up fast.
