I am with you, seems like a heck of a lot of money. I built a similar car professionally for a lot less money than that. Of course the devil's in the details and a lot of little things can really add to the build cost. Frank G. posted build costs for an extremely well done ST clone built by one of the top Porsche race resto shops in the country and it was less than $138K. I agree Matteos' car is a steal for all that was done. In the end it all comes down to what you want. The trend I see coming in clones is people making a very close replicas of a well known race car, these are being called tribute cars, for those of us that can't pony up the mil or two to buy the real thing.
