DON'T use the 10 to 1 block and hydro head of 85 and later GTI's.
DO use their tranny 020 9A best tranny for a VW turbo. Update the rivets on the ring gear to bolts, or be sorry.
Running a G60 block and P&P head with ARP head studs and 15 psi boost is well over stock 951 levels in a lighter car.
We have built several of these and they embarass the hell out of Mustangs and the like. Always race from the right lane!!!
