I have skied Snowshoe, and I felt that the trails were narrow, and crowded. Too many people peering over the edge trying to get up the nerve.
I would love to go out west, but that won't be this trip.
Vermont is just too far. I grew up skiing those mountains.

So what about Elk? Is it worth the extra travel?
