I was troubleshooting my windshield washer system last summer and here's what NOT to do:
DON'T take a pair of pliers and start yanking on the plastic nozzles from the top hoping to get them out....you will end up scratching the paint and the pliers will keep slipping.... very frustrating.
For me, it ended up being a bad check valve.....
also make sure the line to that nozzle is connected and the water is not running inside the car.
