I enjoyed it the few times I've had it. There's a place in central Pa. (name escapes me), that has ostrich fillet. Cooked medium rare it was awesome. Great description... tastes like beef with a wild side. And the big plus is the low low fat. Would have it more often but it's hard to find.
And from talking with a friend that has tried raising them it isn't all that easy, a very territorial animal and can disembowel you in a heartbeat, YIKES!!!
