It very tough to put a value on a used engine, you have to assume that it is a core and will require a rebuild. The highest valuation would be to the guy that owns chassis motor came out of, the next would be someone w/ 69S with wrong type motor. To buy rebuild and put into another chassis for a hot rod project you will be paying dearly for those 170 horses. If you really like the characteristics of those 2 L S motors than go for it.
