This is not really the answer you're after, just unsolicited info...
It's hard to improve upon the functional design of the factory Porsche shift knob/handle. As you will quickly realize if/when you use an aftermarket shift knob, the OE unit very effectively isolates very harsh vibrations and noise. I tried aftermarket shift knobs (MOMO) but eventually went back to the OE shifter w/a short shift kit. YMMV
