1) How many miles are on your car?

2) As you've now learned, "buying" a car can be the cheap part of Porsche ownership. Recall, these were $40K plus cars when new and parts for them will never be cheap. Check out all those $3K 944s.. they are $3k because they need $2k Clutches, 1K belts/hoses/pumps etc. They go on sale the moment the parts cost more than the car.


Now then. Scan the classified and the active threads for folks who have recently upgraded their suspension. Check 986 and 996. Those are the guys who wil be looking to sell their used (cheap) parts because they no longer need them.

Short of that (and make sure they were low mileage to begin with) its time to either park the car or go into debt to get proper struts. And a re-alignment.
