I would check the timing belt again for correct timing and tension. And also check the Distributor Rotor. Hope it just the rotor came loose not the timing belt jump tooth.
I have a habit when something is wrong, first thing I check is what I did.
Because in my opinion when everything work before I replace any part it should be the same or better.
It sure sound like the Dist Rotor come loose (drn that little alan bolt) LOL.
