There are advantages to picking it up yourself...One is piece of mind in the delivery and secondly it gives you some time to get to know her...
When I bought the 993, I drove it back from Markham Ontario...It was a fun 2.5 days !!!
On my way down to Kelowna in May, I picked up a tail in the form of a Cayenne TT...He was able to stay with me for awhile until I got tired of him and had to leave him behind...
I have driven these on the track and I know how much fun they are...I'm sure you would enjoy the ride home especially through the mountains and overtaking...
