8.5:1 is probably right

I believe the pistons are 8.5:1. I wish they were 9.8:1, but according to the stamp on the case: 930/09 and the book Wayne's book on "How to build and modify..." on page 202... halfway down... clearly shows that the pistons that come in that engine... 930/09 are 8.5:1 - producing 188 HP @ 5500, and 265 n/lbs of torque @ 4200 max.

I think I will have to locate a match set of 9.8:1 pistons and cylinders if I want to get the most out of the 964 cam grinds.

Bad news for me, good news for anyone needing to sell a set.

KNOW anyone looking to sell a set?

Thanks!
