Perhaps not 9.8's. You pocket is too ill defined and the number is wrong. My '82 Euro had the following on the inside of the piston:

++ (weight group)
C021
Yours do not match any of the 3 pics Vin has there either. My 9.8's look more like Vin's 9.5 Euros with the sharply defined flat area.
