I checked the ad last night and there is an additional post regarding "many emails". In short, the seller is disclaiming any knowledge of how to restore a Porsche and is discounting the MM reference as only one possible way to restore that came up on an internet search. He is admonishing all buyers to "do your homework" regarding the car's condition and cost of restoration. It all sounds consistent with a seller unfamiliar with the early Porsche market and uncertain about the sources of the emails, ergo--caveat emptor--which is better than blind leading the blind, IMO.
