Benefits are:
-You are installing something that won't crack/explode.
-The pop-off valve design is argued to be better, it won't come unglued etc.
-Overall durability-- You probably won't have to re-install another one.
-I would argue that air induction is better given there is less resistance across stainless steel over plastic.
