I got within 15 feet of a spike buck that wasn't legal. Was a real rush even though I had to let it go. The rush was almost as good as the pig I stuck with an arrow which decided to charge me in return.
I will try for a pig again this spring with the long bow. This time it will be in a gun zone, so I will be able to take a side arm, just in case ...
