I went up and took a look at it as well. It actually was pretty well sorted, other than the head/cams of course. Small oil leak on the transaxle, had a light hit on the rear bumper but fixed up decently, interior was good. Maybe some engine oil leaks but those would be fixed while doing the top end anyway.
I was to meet the guy on Sunday (Had a track day on Saturday
), but he never returned my calls/email over the weekend, and wrote back once into work on Tuesday that the car was sold on Monday (Holiday). He gets the L-O-S-E-R award in my book
I was thinking to get the car for 3K, get a head/cam setup for ~1-1.5K, and then maybe another 1K of other stuff to make it right. Then you would have a nice S2 cab for ~5K:
