Is CVU a good brand?
I have a '75 914 that I'm working on to get it back on the road. I made a list of needed parts and it includes used fuel injectors (purchased for $25 each and rebuilt for $26.50 each) and CV joints from PMB Performance for $89 each. On another website, I recently found CVU fuel injectors for $34.89 each and axle shafts (complete with two CV joints) for $62.21 each. Both of these items have a 7-year/70k mile limited manufacturer's warranty. If I get these parts instead of following the original plan, I'll save $298.02. Have any of you ever had any experience with parts from CVU? Any feedback is appreciated. Thank you.
