Erik , I think you have the base for a nice car here and possibly someone's idea of a track
project potential..
IMHO this market makes this a very narrow segment that may even cast a glance in your
cars direction and given your candid honest approach might dissuade some of the lesser hands on type buyer.
You spoke at least on the pelican listing of what suspension mods could be addressed..what
is the current condition ? Stock 75?
Oh and lets not forget the glaring yet somewhat overlooked vintage...it's a 75!!!
yes its galvanized right! Well maybe that may have only been lower panels/chassis until 77
whats the going price on a 75 now? Rather rude awakening...but with 3.0 rebuilt great
powerplant and excellent performance....for 1980,today everyone is looking to less hands on
and electronic gamcrackery ala 3.2 and motronics.
Without updated performance suspension and brakes ,it's a nice updated body with later
3.0 liter engine,probably sub 20k particularly today.
ten..uh fifteen years back I had a very nice 77 calif car turbo bodied ,3.2 late eng/trans and
turbo brakes recently completely done over paint and body that I had to say I was happy
to get 18,500 and that was top dollar.
Some of our valuations in terms of money invested may need adjustment for the amount of
enjoyment we received....some may never be recouped..My .02 Bert
