All in all, I've found my Miata to be very closely matched to my 944. The Miata likes being tossed around the really tight turns more than the 944 does, but the 944 favors the higher speed, grippier turns and it can pull itself out of a low-speed slump better.
Last August, I had planned on taking both cars to Summit Point to get some good back-to-back comparisons between the two. Unfortunately, it didn't happen. As I inspected the 944 I realized it had a problem so I left it at home.
