They do look dated now but so did "long hoods" about 15 years ago. It was very fashionable to update "long hoods" to "impact bumpers"... A few years later a lot of people were updating "impact bumpers" to the 964 Carrera look complete with the correct looking Italian made 16 inch alloy wheels.
How times have changed... This Board is littered with back date threads... Most of which started life as a humble SC or 3.2. (I love these cars by the way)
I'm willing to bet that in 10 to 15 years when "long hoods" have become old hat again the impact bumper cars will see a resurgence in popularity.
That's when this 930 SE will be worth big money. But who has the money right now and is willing to invest in such a car in Australia? I bet this car is shipped over seas to Japan or England... Australia's loss
