This is coming up before we know it, and if you've not made your arrangements yet, you need to. Porsche is the featured marquee this year, so its going to attract some notable people and cars. That is not to say this event is a slouch any other year!
There is a Porsche Corral sponsored by PCA Monterey Bay Region that you can get into by going here, early registration ends 5/31:

Wayne had mentioned something about a Pelican-sponsored event somewhere along the line, but I don't think I've seen anything since.
I'm going to trailer my car up, arriving some time Friday afternoon 8/14, spend the day at the track on Saturday and head home Sunday morning. I wish I had more time to take in some of the other Peninsula activities that week, but I won't.
If you don't have lodging, you'll be scrounging at this point and paying a pretty penny to stay in the vicinity. Remember the Pebble Beach Concours, the auctions, Concours Italiano and a bunch of other events all happen this week. There is another thread,
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showthread.php?t=442211&page=2&highlight=laguna+seca , that started on camping and some other info, but I thought I'd start a new one with the basics.
