The wire is a brown wire with a white tracer. If you look under the corner of the dash where it
meets the right or left side there is a single wire separate front the main door harness- connector. That wire goes thought the padding on the side foorwall area and to the door pin switch. Most of the time you can just unscrew the switch fron the pillare and pill it through slightly but they fo not give you alot of Wire !!

To access the wire you need to remove the dead pedal from the left side, the under dash tray for the side you are working on ( makes it alot easier ). Peel the carpet back and then gently remove the body padding. ( same for right side.)
