On the older cars unless you have a burning desire to move up to the PKensioner the original system is my first choice as it is simple and cheap to R&R. 77 to 80 US cars in particular.
$ for $ no contest on the earlier cars.
As you move up through the years the need for the PKensioner out weighs the R&R of the original system. Any engine that is interferance or thought to be needs the PKensione in my book.
