I did this job without removing the brakes, rotor, caliper, etc. As I recall, it is out lined in the repair manual pretty well (for a change). Just be sure to take note of the washers and cone-shapred washers that come off when you pull out the pivot rod. Fun figuring out where they go otherwise...
