My opinion only. May be factory, but not 68. However, having read this board for several years I have learned that Porsches usually have an exception to every rule.
The back of the badge does not look to be period correct for the early badges because it is thick and solid with no reverse impressions of the front details. Also, the pins are not showing any solder--they are too clean. Finally, the picture of the horse seems to be too "thick legged." The early badges had a horse where the legs are thinner and more delicate.
All that being said, I could be wrong as there is no telling what odd things appear on cars over the years that the factory applies. If I were thinking of buying this badge, however, I would not bet on it being from a 68 though it still could be an OEM badge.
