not driveable when bought it....
Just posted what was told to me about "how" it died, the gas, and what would happen when it sat for a while(days) I bought it for $400 NON RUNNING AND WOULD LOVE TO DRIVE IT.
I did try to jump the relays, the relay box on right side obviously had not been opened for a long time as I had to use vise grips on a phillips head to get them loose.
I went to buy it and when we put power to the dead battery I cranked the motor and the first time IT STARTED, and then died out. It sounded good, no noise, no smoke. It acted like it would start after that, but sounded like it was out of gas. I was hoping it was a relay, but after jumping them and nothing, I was disappointed. I am prepared to put a pump, crank sensor or whatever in it at the price I paid, but do no want to buy a bunch of parts for nothing.
I know the guy I got it from tried all the BMW forums but I have faith in Pelican.
