well Phil

what i can say is that these cars are both loved and hated. if it is a really nice original with motor up dates done then it would be worth the same as a decent SC. what i have found with these cars in the past is that not all updates get done. for example lots have had chain tenioners and not head studs and vise versa. if he is a pca member and knows these cars he will probably price car accordingly. i would think you are going to be between 8 and 12k. i have seen really nice ones sell for more but most are priced in the above price range and you just have to dig threw all the ones and find a diamond in the rough.

you should drive the car first if you have never driven a mid year car they are not power houses and will not impress you with there power. it is very primitive compared to your C2 your wanting. but these cars are some of my favorites as you can own more than one because there a bargain for a Porsche most of the time.

good luck in your car venture and hope you find what your looking for this car maybe a good hold over to get you where you want to be. or maybe you will just keep it and buy another?

cheers ed
