I tell no lies, carefully apply the Vaseline everywhere you don't want the paint to stick. Spray the wheel and as soon as your done wipe off the Vaseline with paper towels. Rap a paper towel around your index finger to wipe off the Vaseline in the area where the black meets the machined aluminum. It really very simple and works great.
I did it and was careful not to overspray to much on the Aluminum, if you know how to spray in right--->left--->right--->left strokes you will be happy with the result.
