I saw a thread some time ago on Rennlist about how to convert a p/s rack to manual.

Per Cobalt, RSA manual racks are still available at $700.
I'm not sure this would be a good idea with a stock 964. Our cars are heavier than Carreras/SCs and steering effort will be quite high in comparison.
