Keep/Fix or Part out?
What would you do:
I have a 1985 3.2 Carrera Targa I have owned (second owner) since 1989. I have 240,000 miles on it now (I put on 180,000 of them). The car has been real good to me. Top end was done at 200,000, two alternators, a seized A/C compressor and not much else but routine maintenance. It is one of several cars, so I don't drive it much anymore (in the last couple of years).
I was rear ended in the car about 5 years ago and was pushed under a truck bumper. I got two front fenders, a new hood, some new front sub structure, a new paint job (glasurit) and while it was being done I added a new dash, new windshield, new rubber in most places.
I did drive it a couple of months ago and found a serious fuel leak up front - I am guessing the return line. It has me thinking of either fixing the car and driving it or selling it/parting it.
What would you do? I am on the fence....
