Thanks for your replies - I am prompted by my wife to get it fixed - she pushed me off the fence.
I don't need the car (one of 8 cars) or the money. I am somewhat attached to it just in the fact that it is the longest I have owned one car and there is personal history with it (180,000 miles with my butt in the seat).
I guess it is coming down to simplifying my life. If I am only going to drive it a few times a year - why bother keeping it? On the other hand, it cost me nothing to have it sit and it is at the bottom of the value curve at this point. However, it is doing the car no good to sit.
So I guess it is fix it and see how much I drive it...
