Sounds like a great car, I have a 1982 Pacific Blue targa that I have owned for 13 fun years. Sometimes I wish mine was a coupe. If it was closer I would be very tempted. If the car is right, I think the price is a little high. However, sometimes if its only a couple thousand over, I have paid a premium to get the right one.
In the long run, if you're not paying for someone's deferred maintenance it's not a big deal.
