I used the sparco flat bottom mount that is for a 911 as well as their sliders. I would say that I migh be about 1/2" lower than I used to sit.
I replaced the steering wheel with a momo race as well as the momo spacer that helped bring the wheel closer to me. The combo of the new shape and position of the seat and the steering wheel made a gigantic improvement in my ability to fit in the car. I'm a long legged 6'2" guy. So before, my knees were always getting in the way of steering. Now I feel like itruly fit in the car.
