would you go ahead with this ???
I just have this feeling that all is not right. I would think that a transaction that takes place through ebay buyers protection would be safe, but I don't quite know. Anybody complete any similar transactions ?
Hello,
Here is what I had in mind. Because we cannot meet in person, I suggest using a well known third party as a supervisor for this transaction. The transaction will go straight through ebay. They will be our middle man.
The steps of the transaction are:
1. I will start the transaction which will falls under the Business Purchase Protection program, managed by ebay, and they will send you an e-mail confirmation with the payment and delivery instructions.
2. You send the payment to ebay.
3. The car will be delivered to your location (shipping included in the price). There will also be provided a tracking number of the shipment which you can check anytime you want.
4. You will receive the car in 48-72 hours, depending on your current location, and you will have a 5 days inspection period to test it.
5. If the car is what you expected ebay will forward the payment to me. If not, they will fully refund you at your request and they will send the car back on my expense. I know the condition of my car, and you will be very satisfied, I am pretty sure about this.
Will also need your full name, address and phone number so I can start the official procedure with ebay.
Looking forward to hear from you
...is this the new Nigerian scam ?
