I'm in the R/C industry and he probably has something like these in there--three to five grand each--real turbines that spin like 125,000rpm (yea, one-hundred twenty-five grand!). Then there's all the radio gear and retracts, not to mention the materials to build the plane. Could be scratch built, but I wouldn't be surprised if that's a kit with a fiberglass fuse. Pretty cool.
