[TRE Cup]

I was bombing along Mulholland from coldwater towards Laurel canyon. The light at Laurel was just turning yellow as i screamed thru it. As i rounded the next left with my landing lights ablaze, L.A.'s finest is making an oncoming turn across my path into a driveway

Choice A- swerve left and cause a side to side impact
Choice B - T bone him
Choice C- Come to a screeching stop about a foot from the passenger door

Doh... Chose "C".
I don't think i ever thought so fast in my life with what spilled next from my mouth " Officer, officer... I am SO glad to see you!!"
Somewhat befuddled, one of them asks What for? " Well some jerk was chasing me and trying to run me off the road !!"
Pause.. they look at the car; a nice RX4 mazda wagon, they look at me,,, and to my luck we all hear the screeching of tires trying to make the turns across the way. PHEW !!
"where do you live?" i am asked

"Just down the hill here off of Dona XXX" (completely true if they wanted to check)
" Get on home !"
