The ring gear will need to be installed on the LSD and then the bearing preload and gear lash will have to be set using shims that go between the bearings on the LSD and the LSD housing. The pinion depth should not need to be reset. It is not overly complicated. Whoever is rebuilding your trans should be able to handle it. It makes a huge difference in how the car launches.
