My 83SC has the same brass cooler, I have bought a new carrera
fin style cooler that has been sitting in a box for six months. I live in hot mugy florida but I dont drive the car to much in the summer months. I think that unless you drive in heavy stop n go driving than the brass cooler is fine. When you upgrade is when you will have to change the set up. I would stick to the Porsche oil coolers and not spend my money on aftermarket coolers.
