I had an internal seal leak on my master cylinder. I would lose pressure and after several minutes, it would come back. If I reached down and manually worked the pedal several times, the cylinder would repressureize. Can't do this while driving.
I agree with Britwrench. Change both cylinders. Although, I don't think you need to change the tubes. I haven't had a problem with the tubing after 2 years. I changed the master only and 2 months later I had to change the slave. Since then no problems.
