Hi,

I had to buy a new battery last year for my 79. It's the same international one I had in the past, but this time it's just a little too big to be mounted with the standard clips in the fender.

I autox it so I need a solid hold down. I've been looking at other batteries in the 911 forum but there are too many choices, but not real world Canadian options (cold weather, taken out every year, etc.) I would like to get feedback on options for either a new battery (smaller) that I can use a mounting kit on, or other options...

I was thinking of taking a file to the sides of mine, but that looks like a disaster in the making.
